Currently there
are 43 Agriculture Farms situated in the different districts of the state. The
main objective of establishment of Agriculture Farms was the multiplication of
seeds. The foundation seeds of high productivity and high quality varieties of
both Rabi and Kharif crops are produced in these Agriculture Farms..
Along with the availability of seeds to the farmers, the
techniques of production of crops, organic farming and production of organic
manure is also exhibited in these Agriculture Farms. The varieties of different
crops that may give hybrid production are also exhibited in these Agriculture
Farms. Farmers can directly visit Agriculture Farms by the contact of
Superintendent of the Farm.
